Call for Speakers: Design Track at SHADE Conference 2024 - August 9, 2024
We are gearing up for the Southwest Horticulture Annual Day of Education (SHADE) Conference 2024, we are thrilled to extend an invitation to dynamic speakers to join us in presenting your projects, research, and special topics within the Design Track of the conference.
SHADE Conference:
SHADE Conference serves as a hub for Designer, irrigation techs, arborists, horticulture enthusiasts, professionals, and experts to share knowledge, insights, and cutting-edge ideas. The Design Track is a vital component, inspiring and educating our audience on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in horticultural design.
Call for Speakers:
If you are a passionate advocate for design with valuable insights to share, we want to hear from you! Submit a proposal and be part of an event that fosters growth and collaboration in the horticulture community. Please submit your proposal to by the deadline. The organizing committee will review all submissions and notify selected speakers within 3 weeks of submittal due date.
Submission Guidelines:
Respond to the following prompts in your proposal:
Topic and Abstract: Detail your proposed presentation topic, emphasizing its relevance to horticultural design. Outline the key points you plan to cover.
How does your topic discuss/address on or all of the following, Health, Safety, and Welfare: Share your ideas for engaging these topics during your presentation. We encourage innovative and interactive approaches and feel free to expand the what you think it may be.
Relevance to Current Trends: Explain how your presentation addresses current trends, challenges, or opportunities in design or set the standard for what design is.
Speaker Qualifications: Provide a brief bio, highlighting your expertise and experience in design. Include any relevant speaking engagements or publications.
